Your card may be declined if: (1) you entered incorrect card information, (2) you have insufficient balance, (3) you're trying to use it at a non-participating business, or (4) you're attempting to use it with a third-party delivery service. Please verify your card details and ensure you're shopping at a participating Mountain Money location.

Will my payment automatically deduct from the card if I don't have enough to cover my entire balance?

No. If your purchase exceeds your card balance, you'll need to split the payment. The business will first charge your Mountain Money for the available balance, then you'll pay the remaining amount with another payment method (credit card, cash, etc.).

How is the digital Mountain Money redeemed?

Save your Mountain Money to your Apple- or Google-Wallet and simply tap-to-pay. You can also use the Yiftee app (available at the Apple App Store) to store your Yiftee cards and access current card balances. If you do not use Apple- or Google-Pay, merchants can redeem your card by manually entering your 16-digit card code into their POS or terminal system, just like entering a credit card number. The card CANNOT be swiped - it must be keyed in manually. Show your card code (from email or printout) to the cashier at checkout.

No, there are no plastic cards available. Your Mountain Money is digital-only and delivered via email. You can print it on paper if you prefer to have a physical copy to present at checkout.
